Excessive Sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Excessive Sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Sweating is completely normal and necessary for the body to reduce heat. Severe, or excessive sweating is known as hyperhidrosis. It is caused by overactivity in the sweat glands which produces sweat in greater amounts than the body actually needs. Both men and women can be affected resulting in wet patches on clothes in the arm pit area. For some individuals, this can be a source of discomfort or embarrassment.

Botox® can be used as a hyperhidrosis treatment in the armpit area. It can be injected into sweat glands to block the nerve impulses that cause your body to sweat without affecting other nerve functions.

This is a highly effective and licenced treatment that is quick, safe and relatively pain free. Results can be apparent within 10 days and can last many months.

Treatment is done in a safe, comfortable and CQC compliant environment and usually takes 30mins.
