Rasika graduated BDS in 2004 from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and holds an MSD & PhD in 2012 from Yonsei University, South Korea.
Dr. Rasika is a Dental Therapist and Hygienist with over 20 years of clinical experience in both public and private dental settings. He originally trained as a Dentist in Sri Lanka, graduated from the University of Peradeniya, and has provided comprehensive dental care since 2004, accumulating over 25,000 clinical hours. His expertise spans restorative and periodontal therapy, paediatric dentistry, and the field of oral medicine and pathology.
In addition to clinical practice, he brings extensive academic experience, having served as a Professor in Oral Pathology at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and Lecturer in Health and Social Care in the UK. He holds a Master’s and PhD in Dental Sciences from Yonsei University, South Korea, with a research focus on oral cancer.
Known for his commitment to patient-centred care, Dr Rasika combines clinical precision with a passion for oral health education. He is dedicated to continuous professional development, ensuring the highest standards of modern dentistry are met with empathy, professionalism, and ethical care.
He loves North Indian classical music and in his free time, he likes to travel, explore new places and spend time with his family.
